My business isn’t profitable, can I still sell it?

Yes, you can still sell your business if you have intellectual property (IP), talent, and/or customers. Most of these deals are not cash offers but a combination of seller financing, equity roll over, and earn-outs. Dauntless acquires pre-revenue businesses through these creative financing tools.

I don’t want to sell to a PE firm, what are my options?

PE (Private Equity) isn’t for everyone. Instead, you can sell to a competitor or a company like Dauntless that does “legacy acquisition” where the brand and team is maintained post-sale.

I’m working with a business broker, can i still sell to you?

Yes, we will acquire businesses through a broker. However, we may suggest you re-engage with us once your contract expires, depending on the terms of your broker agreement. When in doubt, reach out to use before you sign up with a broker.
